Usage Access Permission

How we track time to help you save it.

🕒 Why we need this permission

FocuzPass uses the Usage Access permission to help you manage your scrolling habits effectively. This permission acts as our "eye" to help you stay focused:

It is used to track exactly how many minutes you spend on distracting apps so we can trigger blocks automatically when you reach your daily limit.

🔒 Is my data private?

Yes. We treat your usage data with the highest security:

  • Aggregated Time Only: We only see *how long* you were in an app, never what you did inside it.
  • Zero Advertising: We never share your usage stats with any third-party advertisers.
  • Local Logic: Most processing happens on your device to ensure maximum privacy.

⚠️ Understanding the "Danger" Warning

On some devices (like Xiaomi, POCO, or Redmi), you may see a high-alert warning when enabling Usage Stats:

Usage Stats Warning

Fact Check: This is a standard system-wide warning that only appears on some specific device models. FocuzPass ignores your carrier info, language settings, and other metadata. We only care about the App Package Name and Total Time recorded to help you reach your focus goals.

Your privacy is safe with FocuzPass.

💡 Our Commitment

FocuzPass is built to empower you, not to monitor you. Our business model is based on subscriptions, not on selling data. Your trust is our most valuable asset.
