1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FocuzPass ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please uninstall and discontinue use immediately.

These Terms form a legal agreement between you ("you", "user") and FocuzPass ("we", "us", "our").

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• We do not knowingly allow individuals under 18 to use FocuzPass.

By using the Service, you confirm:

• You are 18 or older
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with all applicable laws

3. Description of the Service

FocuzPass is a screen-time management and digital wellbeing app that helps users stay focused by:

• Blocking selected apps
• Applying screen overlays
• Requiring quiz completion to regain access
• Tracking focus streaks and achievements
• Providing performance statistics
• Offering premium features via subscription

FocuzPass is a motivational tool, and we do not guarantee specific productivity outcomes.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Registration

You may sign in using Google or other authentication providers. By doing so, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Maintain security of your login
• Notify us of suspicious activity

4.2 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• All actions taken through your account
• Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials

4.3 Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You attempt to bypass blocking or trials
• You engage in fraudulent behavior
• You attempt to exploit or harm the Service

5. Use of the Service

5.1 Voluntary Use

FocuzPass functions only with permissions you grant. You may adjust or remove permissions at any time, though this may disable certain features.

5.2 Required Permissions

To work correctly, FocuzPass requires:

• Usage Access Permission
• Overlay Permission
• Notification Access
• Internet Access

5.3 No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee:

• 100% effective blocking
• Perfect compatibility on every device
• That the Service will meet all productivity expectations

6. License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use FocuzPass.

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service
• Reverse-engineer or decompile the app
• Create competing products using our technology

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal or harmful activities
• Interfere with or disrupt the app or servers
• Introduce malware, bots, or automation tools
• Attempt to bypass restrictions, overlays, or quizzes
• Exploit free trials using multiple accounts or spoofing tools
• Manipulate device identifiers
• Collect or scrape user data

8. Free Trial and Subscriptions

8.1 Free Trial

• Eligible devices receive a 7-day free trial
• Each device is limited to one trial
• We use secure hashed device identifiers to prevent trial abuse

8.2 Premium Subscription

Premium may include:

• Unlimited unblocks
• Advanced settings
• Additional focus tools
• Ad-free experience (if added in the future)

8.3 Payments

Handled through Google Play Billing. We do not store payment information.

8.4 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled via Google Play.

8.5 Refunds

Refunds are managed entirely by Google Play.

We generally do not provide refunds, except in rare cases where the app is fully non-functional on your device despite proper setup. Approval of such refunds is at our sole discretion.

8.6 Price Changes

Subscription prices may change. You will be informed before renewal at the new price.

9. Trial Abuse Prevention

To ensure fairness, we use secure hashed device identifiers to detect:

• Multiple trial attempts
• Account swapping
• Device spoofing
• Trial evasion

10. Mandatory Analytics

FocuzPass uses analytics and crash-reporting tools to operate correctly and maintain stability.

These systems:

• Are required for core functionality
• Cannot be disabled by users
• Do not collect unnecessary personal content
• Are not used for advertising or profiling

11. Termination

11.1 By Us

We may terminate access if:

• You violate these Terms
• Fraud or misuse is detected
• Necessary permissions are repeatedly removed
• We discontinue the Service

11.2 By You

You may delete your account at any time.

After deletion:

• Your personal data will be deleted or anonymized
• Subscriptions remain valid until the end of the billing period
• Device-hash records may be retained for trial-fraud prevention

12. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and branding related to FocuzPass are owned by us.

You may not:

• Copy or reproduce content
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Modify or redistribute the Service

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

FocuzPass is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be error-free
• Blocking will be flawless
• All features will work on every device
• The Service will meet all expectations

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for data loss, productivity loss, or device issues
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months, or ₹1,000, whichever is higher

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold FocuzPass harmless from claims arising out of:

• Misuse of the Service
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of any laws

16. Access to Your Data

If you need a copy of the personal data associated with your FocuzPass profile, you must request it by contacting us at: customersupport@focuzpass.com

We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We do not provide automated in-app data exports at this time.

17.1 Informal Resolution

Please contact us first at customersupport@focuzpass.com. We will attempt to resolve disputes informally.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of FocuzPass indicates acceptance of revised Terms.
