By installing or using FocuzPass ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "user") and FocuzPass ("we",
"us", "our").
2. Eligibility
- FocuzPass is intended for adult users (18+)
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
- We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to use FocuzPass
By using the Service, you confirm that:
- You are 18 or older
- You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- You will comply with all applicable laws
3. Description of the Service
FocuzPass is a productivity and digital-wellbeing tool that helps users manage screen time by:
- Blocking distracting apps during focus sessions
- Providing quizzes to earn additional screen-time
- Tracking streaks, achievements, and session metrics
- Offering optional premium features
We do not guarantee specific productivity outcomes.
4. User Accounts
4.1 Registration
If you sign in using Google or other providers, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access
4.2 Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity performed under your account.
4.3 Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent activity or trial abuse
- Security concerns
- Misuse of the Service
5. Required Permissions
To function properly, FocuzPass requires necessary system device permissions:
5.1 Accessibility Service API
The core blocking functionality of FocuzPass relies on the Android AccessibilityService API. By
granting this permission, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The permission is used exclusively to detect when a restricted application is launched in
the foreground in order to block it.
- We NEVER use this permission to read, capture, monitor, collect, or store any on-screen
content, text, passwords, or personal information.
- It is strictly utilized as a tool for enforcing digital wellbeing.
5.2 Other Necessary Permissions
- Usage Stats Access: Used to calculate screen time.
- Notification Permission: Used to provide session alerts.
- Internet Access: Used for user authentication and syncing.
Removing these required permissions will limit or completely disable app functionality.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Break any laws
- Interfere with the Service or servers
- Introduce malware
- Circumvent blocking, quizzes, or trial prevention
- Create multiple accounts to abuse trials
- Scrape or harvest data
- Use bots or automated tools
7. Subscriptions
7.1 Premium Subscription
Premium may include:
- Unlimited unblocks
- Advanced customization
- Additional productivity features
7.2 Payments
- Handled securely through Google Play Billing
- We do not store payment data
7.3 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled in the Google Play Store.
7.4 Refunds
Refunds are governed by Google Play policies. We generally do not offer refunds, except in rare
cases where the app is fully non-functional despite correct setup.
8. Termination
8.1 By Us
We may terminate access for violations, fraud, misuse, or security risks.
8.2 By You
You may request account deletion by contacting us at customersupport@focuzpass.com.
After deletion:
- Personal data is deleted or anonymized
- Subscriptions remain active until expiry
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use means acceptance of the revised Terms.
